Continued from THIS post.
…After that, we had another season full of disaster. We had found a few new members… Kusion, __ar, and our new editor Crate. We picked up four shows that season. MM! was the most terrible fansubbing experience for me as I had to stay up for 24+ hours to work on it. mochichi was the one translating MM! and the rest was proceeding as usual. Around episode 7, I kicked out Kusion as he wasn’t taking his work seriously, and __ar as well soon after him because he did something :stupid:. Then Crate suddenly vanished one of those days and we still don’t know where that guy is… (Are you even alive, Crate? Please come and say hi to us if you read this post). And then all that capping drama from Elitistfags happened and we couldn’t speedsub anymore. Anyway, then we had a joint going on with UTW, Moshi was the translator for it and that was the last show he had speedsubbed for us. When that season ended, I decided to take a break from fansubbing because it’s getting too tiring for me at that point (THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE RIGHT THERE!). And we did… Thus, Ryuumaru went into hibernation mode.
It was supposed to be for one season only, but I couldn’t see what I was up for. My RL became even more of a mess than it was already, and right now, I’m still dealing with the aftermath. Things went terribad for me even on the internet. I was standing at the edge and thought that I’d never be able to recover from all the shit I had been through. All of the staff members left. Akuji-sama, mochichi… I kicked out aznskman because of some :stuff: that he did to us. Moshi has long lost his interest in this group after joining some others. So literally, right now, it’s only me and nixx` left in this group Hurf, nixx` quits as well, so it’s just me now. At first, I decided to fuck this shit and do something :creative:… Until last night, that is. I’ve made my decision now… I’m going to revive this group no matter WHAT I have to do. I just need a capper and a translator. I’ll find those no matter what I have to do. Like, there’s no use sulking over the stuff that has happened already, I think it’s about time I man the fuck up and move forward. Many have contributed for this group, many of them stayed up till late night with me; even had to pull all nighters… and I just don’t want all of those :efforts: to go in vain. I’ll keep finding someone that I can trust. No matter how long it’d take, I won’t let this group die like the others. For me personally, fansubbing was a really awesome experience. I was able to meet some really wonderful people because of it, and I want to meet some more people like them before I quit fansubbing… That’s why I think it’s just way too early for me to quit right now. It’s not even been two years completely. So please, forgive me if I’m not able to keep my promise I made in the last few posts that we’ll do something this season. I’m trying my best here to find someone to carry on with, but if I can’t, then all I can do is apologize. But do look forward to Hyakka BD vol. 5 and special with it!
And while we’re at it, I’d like to specially thank mochichi and Akuji-sama for their wonderful contribution in this group. I will miss you guys and I’ll always be waiting for you here. If you can’t come back to fansub again, at least come back to say hi every once in a while, okay? I’m pretty sure I am not the only one who’d be happy to see you guys around. Honestly, thank you, thank you very much, both of you… You two were real buddies, I’ll never forget about you guys, never in my life. And since I can’t get in contact with you guys, I’ll say it here: I’m really sorry for everything that has happened. And good luck with your lives. Along with me, the :new: Ryuumaru will always remember you two, and I hope that you guys will remember us as well (▰˘◡˘▰). I shall pray for your success.
EDIT: Oh, and thanks a LOT to Raze and Zach for being REAL bros and being there for me when I had no one to talk to. I love you both. Thanks a LOT guys. ;____________;

I need someone that’s living in Japan right now and is interested in capping. We’ll provide you with the equipment if you can prove yourself trustworthy.
Props to you commander`A on continuing when it’s an uphill struggle. Hope you manage to get your group up and running again and I look forward to your releases in the (hopefully) near future!

The return of the mater fansub…
I wonder why fansubbers can’t fansub seriously without all the trolling and drama and the like. One of the reasons why I like Doki is that they don’t troll and there isn’t and drama nor meme references every second sentence.
I hope that you’ll be able to get back onto your feet and continue fansubbing cause I love your work too. If only I knew Japanese.

I really liked your work as TL and I’m sure com did/does as well, it may have been a short time i was helping out in Ryuumaru with my over-literal QC/TLCing but as far as I could tell Com loved you pretty much to the point where you just suddenly vanished, and seeing how everyone has abandoned the project you can’t really blame him.
Imagine it yourself translating shitloads and then Com bails leaving hours and hours of work to the nothingness, I’m sure you’d be pissed as well.
Would probably jump in for the group just for Koe de Oshigoto, loved that series to death, even with the only one episode it had. But hey, all I can do is edit and my internet isn’t too hot, and plus I have no experience…
So if you’re reaaally that desperate… ┐(￣ー￣)┌
WHat a shame. Ryuumaru made consistently good releases, so it’s a shame to see it crumble like this. Anyway, I hope things get better from now on.

Well I don’t live in Japan and therefore can’t cap, and I don’t speak Japanese so I cant TL, but if you need help on anything else I’m sure I cant learn well enough, If your looking for help otherwise and are willing to put up with me sucking at life I’m your man. You all were my first experience at fan-subs. Never knew they existed till I stumbled upon your site. I say go for it. I wish I could help, translate or something, but I haven’t the skills. Good luck with the revival attempt. The fall season was amazing, and it saddens me that I’ll never again see the same Ryuumaru. Hopefully one day I’ll see another Ryuumaru that’s just as good.
Everything used to go through me and it will now as well. Basically, I was Ryuumaru from the beginning and Ryuumaru will be around as long as I am around. The moment I decide to give up is the time when this group will die.
Nice one going for the revival of your group. Your subs have been pretty damn good in the time you were about. I look forward to seeing you about again.

Ryuumaru came to mind when I saw that the Seitokai Yakuindomo OAD came out today-ish. Watching it (untranslated and not really understanding it) brought back some good memories.
